Many of our clients are running programs and interventions that have been developed to improve conditions in communities around the world. Some of these programs are working to improve aspects of education, violence in neighborhoods, pipeline programs to increase gender diversity on STEM and access to healthcare in communities, to give just a few examples. Our clients need to know the efficacy of these programs. Are they working? If not, many clients will ask us “how can we improve our programs in order to improve our communities?

Program evaluation is the systematic investigation of the merit, worth, or significance of an object or effort. Clients may be looking to evaluate direct service interventions, research initiatives, community labor and mobilization efforts, early detection initiatives, advocacy work, advocacy and marketing campaigns, capacity building, and administrative programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
